Oldonyo Orok Youth CBO is a dynamic, youth-led organization based in Maili Tisa, Kajiado Central Sub-County, dedicated to transforming the lives of out-of-school youth in our community. We are on the front lines, tackling the pressing challenges of drug and substance abuse, economic vulnerability, and the devastating impacts of climate change on our traditional pastoral way of life.

Challanges We adress
Alcohol Addiction
Alcoholism and drug abuse are eroding the potential of our young people, trapping them in cycles of dependency and despair.
Economic Hardship
Limited opportunities leave youth vulnerable and unable to contribute meaningfully to their families and community.
Climate Change
Unpredictable weather patterns directly threaten our pastoral livelihoods, demanding innovative solutions and adaptation strategies.
